ANNOUNCING ANY DAY NOW! - 10.10.08
We are close to coming clean and revealing who will be playing when the Republic of Chill Island next opens its gates. What we can reveal is the date, so pull out the diary and jot this one down:
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 1ST 2009.
Now, here's the scoop: We're going to make available a limited number of pre-release, early bird tickets for all Chill Island Republicans who have joined our list, at least a week before non-Republicans get wind of the details. The first batch of tickets will also be discounted, so there is the opportunity to save some money as well. So, make sure you are a member of the Republic, and tell your fellow Republicans. One thing we know for sure is that the line-up we are about to announce will be sell-out in next to no time. There is nothing worse than having friends and countrymen missing out!
A GREAT DAY! - 16.02.08
Hi Chill Islanders,

Thank you all for making Chill Island 3 such an incredible, beautiful, peaceful day. February 3rd 2008 will go down in history as the day that the People's Republic of Chill Island was truly consolidated. It was great to see so many kids out and enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. The bands were all fantastic, and what an incredible moment seeing everyone together singing ‘From Little Things, Big Things Grow'. Spectacular shows from John Butler Trio, and The Waifs capped off an amazing day where every artist that hit the stage gave their all and connected with the amazing, loving crowd.

So far the feedback has been all good with people loving the beautiful island, the food, the markets, and the fantastic performances by all those great artists.

There are some things to fix next time of course. We'll think of genius ways to get everyone off the island without so much traffic, we'll add more toilets (portaloos as well as composting) and speed up our bar queues so that it's all about the party.

There are some photos and some video here to check out.

Please don't forget to sign up to our mailing list so you don't miss out on the next fantastic event on Chill Island.

Love and peace to all,
Mister Chill.

TRAFFIC - 1.02.08
We think there might be a little traffic after the festival is over.
For locals, your best bet is to use the shuttle bus, and then you can have a drink without worry.
For people from the big smoke, please be patient, the traffic won't last very long. We have police at the main road helping everyone get out.
Everyone please watch out for pedestrians, cyclists and wildlife.
